FLYNN
MEET FLYNN!
Flynn is 6 1/2 years old and he remains a very active boy. He loves to run, chase balls, and go for rides in the car. When riding in the back, his favorite spot is with his chin on his foster dad’s left shoulder.
At home, he is very lovable, follows his foster dad everywhere, and is always looking for attention. He currently has 2 younger foster brothers that he enjoys running and rowdy playtime. He goes to the dog park several times a week, where he runs and plays with friends. Flynn is not a fan of little dogs. His preference is to have fun and play with the big dogs. Flynn is in great health but is on maintenance medication for low thyroid levels. Flynn loves his foster brothers but would also be happy as a single dog if he had his person with him most of the time.
Does Flynn sound like a good fit for your pack? Submit an application today if you are interested in adopting Flynn.
CHARLIE
MEET CHARLIE
Charlie, 15 months old, is a sweet energetic boy.
When Charlie came to us, he was a 100% outside dog. He has been learning house manners and pack manners. He is house trained. He is learning crate training, and coming along well.
He is a rough house play mate with our other setters in our home. And when his foster siblings tell him they have had enough, he is respectful and backs off. He is not food-aggressive. You can take his bowl, or anything in his mouth easily. He has been learning to eat from his bowl, and allow others to eat from theirs. He is very food motivated, loves treats, including ice cubes, and will snatch them if some one is not looking.
He loves toys, stuffies, balls, etc and is an agressive chewer. Charlie is not yet out of his puppy chewing stage, so we do not leave shoes or other items unattended or within reach.
He will play in the pool at the steps, but has not gone swimming yet. He is a great traveler, happy to lay down in the car. High prey drive, loves to chase squirrels and birds. His recall is good in the yard, but has not been tested in large open spaces yet.
Great will other dogs, and older children. He has not been exposed to cats yet. When he is “played out” he is a great snuggler on the sofa.
